In determining the winners and commendation awards, this year’s judges engaged in spirited debate for some categories and unanimously agreed in others. The panel comprised Andrew Parr, Director of Interiors at SJB; Kim Bridgland, Director at Edition Office; Rachel Luchetti, Co-Founder of Luchetti Krelle; Kerstin Thompson, Principal and Founder of KTA; Alex McLeod, Co-Founder of at.space, NZ; and, Dulux Colour and Communications Manager, Andrea Lucena-Orr.
The New Zealand and Australian Grand Prix winners exemplified the awards' goals of highlighting innovative uses of colour in architectural design.
New Zealand Grand Prix winner, Pac Studio, was honoured for the interior residential transformation of Lava Flow, showcasing a volcanic red ceiling in Silo Park to reference Auckland's landscape.
Richards Stanisich received the Australian Grand Prix award for its clear vision of pairing the green Delta Break with reflective surfaces for an ethereal effect inside the Sarah & Sebastian Armadale store in Melbourne.

Winners were announced at the 39th Dulux Colour Awards on Wednesday, 28 May 2025 at the National Gallery of Victoria. The Australian Grand Prix award was chosen from the Australian category winners, excluding the Student category, and received AU$5,000. The New Zealand Grand Prix award was selected from the New Zealand finalists, excluding the Student category, and received NZ$5,000.
