Can Dulux Renovation Range Floors be used on splashbacks and benchtops?
This is not advisable as the Renovation Range Floors product contains a slip additive that roughens the surface. This would make the surface very difficult to clean if used on benchtops and splashbacks.
What splashback materials can Dulux Renovation Range be applied to?
Splashbacks that include ceramic tiles, glass and laminate .
How do I clean benches and splashbacks after they have been painted with Dulux Renovation Range?
Caring for your resurfaced benchtops and surfaces is easy. To clean the surface, use a damp cloth or sponge and a mild soap or detergent. The easiest way to avoid stains is to not let spills sit on the surface. All benchtop surfaces should be wiped clean regularly. For dark scuff marks or crayon, try Selleys® Barbeque wipes and a thorough rinse with water. Trivets and potholders will protect against heat damage and using cutting boards for food prep will eliminate any chance of scratching.
It is preferable to use mild detergents to clean the painted surfaces. For harder to remover stains and scum use Selleys® Sugar Soap. For oily stains use Selleys® Barbeque wipes followed immediately with a thorough clean water rinse.
Do not use scouring pad type cleaners or cleaners that contain abrasives. Do not use bleach as this can impact on the colour of some of the colourants used in Renovation Range products.
