Previously Painted Surfaces

1. Remove grease, oil, etc. by washing with a commercial paint cleaner. Thoroughly rinse and allow to dry.

2. Acid and alkali contamination should be removed by thorough rinsing with clean water.

3. Efflorescence or mould on plaster, masonry or timber surfaces must be treated.

4. Rust, millscale, oxide deposits, loose or flaking paint or other foreign material on metal surfaces should be removed in accordance with the requirements of the chosen system.

5. Use primer, sealer or undercoat where required.

Brush, roller

1. Stir well before use with a broad flat paddle using an up and down scooping action.

2. Apply two coats of Dulux Super Enamel™ High Gloss, sanding lightly between coats.

3. Remember using poor quality or worn rollers can adversely affect the final finish.

Note: Oil-based enamel paints can yellow under certain conditions.
