PRECISION® Coatings Remover Neutraliser

Rinse stripped surface thoroughly with water and scrub to removeresidue. Although surface may appear clean, there is a film of soapyalkalinity which can interfere with any subsequent paint coatings. Allowsurface to dry overnight before neutralising.

1.Dissolve product in warm water at 1:5 ratio (e.g. 2kg into 10L).2. Stir until completely dissolved (10–15 seconds).3. Immediately apply the neutraliser solutions with a plastic garden sprayer,working from the bottom up. Be sure to soak completely.4. Scrub surface with a nylon brush while it is still wet. Rinse surface after15–30 minutes with clear water.5. Check the pH level of the surface. Check several areas.6. Repeating the neutralising process may be necessary until pH levels arereduced to a reading of 5-8 on the pH indicator strips.The following applies to applying neutraliser on timber only:7. Be sure to let neutraliser soak into the substrate overnight, afterscrubbing, and before rinsing.Follow directions at steps 5, 6 and 7, as timber may require 2–3 applications.Once pH is between 5–8 it recommended to leave it for another two daysthen re-check as the alkalinity is migratory and can increase over time.
