Previously Painted Surfaces

Surface must be clean, dry and free from dust, oils and grease.

Brush, roller

1. Stir well before use with a broad flat paddle using an up and down scooping action. 

2. Apply two coats of Dulux Ceiling White ensuring that the first coat is completely dry before applying the second. 

Remember, using poor quality or worn rollers can affect the final finish achieved. 

Note: some colours may require more than two coats, especially when painting over dark colours.

Airless/Conventional Spray

• Suitable for application by all standard spray equipment. 

• Up to 100 ml water per litre may be added to aid atomisation.

Unused paint

Do not pour leftover paint down the drain. 

Unwanted paint should be brushed out on newspaper and allowed to dry, and then disposed of via domestic waste collections.

Empty paint containers

Leave empty paint containers open in a well-ventilated area to dry out. When dry, recycle the container via steel can recycling programs.

Disposal of empty paint containers via domestic recycling programs may differ between local authorities. Check with your local council first. 

Do not reuse container unless thoroughly decontaminated.
