Dulux is partnering with Life Flight Trust for Mills Albert Bee in the City, a giant public art trail in the capital city buzzing with creativity and community, transforming Wellington into a vibrant outdoor art gallery.
Dulux and Mills Albert’s Bee in the City have partnered for a Wild in Art event, proudly bought to life by Life Flight Trust, sponsoring one of the trails iconic bee sculptures.
From 14th September, Bee in the City will transform Wellington into a vibrant outdoor art gallery for eight weeks, featuring 30 giant bee sculptures across the city, uniquely designed by Kiwi artists and sponsored by local businesses like Dulux.
In addition to sponsoring a bee sculpture, Dulux is also the official paint sponsor, donating 400 litres of Dulux premium paint to help artists bring the vision to life and and showcase our Colours of New Zealand rage across Wellington city.
At the end of the trail on 26th November, each giant sculpture will be auctioned off to raise vital funds for Life Flight Trust, the charity that operates Wellington’s Westpac Chopper and Air Ambulance planes, providing time critical care to more than 1,700 New Zealander’s every year!
