Step 1: Preparation
Cover floors and furniture with drop sheets
Clean, fill and sand where required
Mask trims, windows and door frames
Step 2: Prime
Using Dulux 1Step® Prep, cut in edges with a high-quality synthetic brush
Using a 10-18mm nap roller, finish the rest of the walls
Only one coat of Dulux 1Step® Prep is required
Step 3: Topcoat
Choose your colour – we recommend Dulux Wash&Wear® +PLUS Kitchen&Bathroom in Woods Creek for walls and Dulux Ceiling White +PLUS Kitchen&Bathroom in Ōkārito for the ceiling
Choose your sheen level – we recommend low sheen or semi gloss for bathrooms
Using your chosen sheen and colour, cut in edges with a high-quality synthetic brush
Using a 10–18mm nap roller, finish the rest of the walls
Leave to dry and then repeat for the second coat

How to make the most out of your paint and accessories
How to keep your paint fresh
If you’re completing your painting project over a few days keep your paint fresh by simply putting the lid back on your tin and store in a cool, dry area.
Re-use your acccessories
Save your accessories for next time! Simply give them a good clean. If you’ve used water-based paint you can clean your brushes in a bucket of water to remove most of the paint, ready for use next time. Note: for solvent-based paint, the recommended solvent is required.
