For porous or rough surfaces, add approximately 20% to the first coat quantity. Complicated mouldings and fittings will require extra paint. Remember to measure doors, windows and other areas that may not be painted (width x height) and to subtract the square metreage from the overall job. Quantity of paint is calculated at 16 sq metres for most Dulux Premium paint.
