Before spraying: Shake can for at least three minutes after first rattle and regularly during use. Lower temperatures and high humidity will slow the drying and affect the gloss level. Avoid spraying when air or surface temperature is below 10°C or above 30°C. Spray application: Hold can upright 10 to 25cm from the surface. To ensure surface compatibility, test spray on an inconspicuous area. Spray with smooth, even strokes parallel to the surface. This product is formulated to resist running and sagging. It should be applied in one or more light coats, as opposed to one heavy coat. Recoat up to two hours or after 16 hours. One colour distressing: Wait two hours before distressing then lightly sand the surface using a fine to medium sandpaper (P240 to P320) until the finish you imagined is achieved. Two-colour distressing: Select two Dulux Duramax® Chalky Finish colours and apply two even coats of each colour. Wait two hours before sanding or distressing. Prevent blocking by turning the can upside down and spraying until clear gas emerges. Also wipe front of nozzle clean. Clean up overspray while it is still wet with mineral turpentine. Coverage: Up to 2m2 per can, depending on surface and colour used.
